16th Annual SAG Awards Nominees

The Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced today and keep in mind that these are only for acting categories, the actors themselves choose the best performances from amongst their peers which is why the SAG 2010 winners would be good indicators of who might win the next Oscars. SAG seems to have left out Tobey Maguire (Brothers) and Emily Blunt (The Young Victoria), those two are nominated for Golden Globe. As much as it would be awesome to see Jeremy Renner take the trophy, I think this is Morgan Freeman‘s year. And look, both SAG and Golden Globes have recognized Sandra Bullock‘s performance in The Blind Side, awesome, there’s a chance she might get an Oscar nod after all, let’s cross our fingers. Lifetime achievement will go to one of my favorite TV ladies of all time, Betty White a.k.a Rose of The Golden Girls.
