2nd Trailer For ARTHUR
March 3, 2011RamaOne CommentArthur, Helen Mirren, Russell Brand

Ok, this new trailer for ARTHUR doesn’t crack me up but at least it’s more entertaining than the previous one and only because this time it’s got a bunch of stuff that we’re familiar with, Batmobile and Darth Vader, of course it does help a bit to have the champ Evander Hollyfield shows up and just stands there without saying anything at all…
Irresponsible charmer Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) has always relied on two things to get by: his limitless fortune and the good sense of lifelong nanny Hobson (Helen Mirren) to keep him out of trouble. Now he faces his biggest challenge–choosing between an arranged marriage that will ensure his lavish lifestyle or an uncertain future with the one thing money can’t buy, Naomi (Greta Gerwig), the only woman he has ever loved. With Naomi’s inspiration and some unconventional help from Hobson, Arthur will take the most expensive risk of his life and finally learn what it means to become a man, in this re-imagining of the classic romantic comedy “Arthur.”
ARTHUR opens April 8th, 2011

So.. What Did You Think About TRON: LEGACY? Dec 17, 2010

I just don’t see this film finding an audience. I think it’s much better than the original from the bits I can see, less of expecting us to laugh at a falling down drunk for instance, but times and audiences have moved on. It just doesn’t translate well into our times. In it’s own way it’s a kinder, gentler “Get Him to the Greek” and although that was not a massive failure, it certainly wasn’t something to build a career upon.
