3 Directors On The Short List For FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot. Bruce Willis Might Voice The Thing?
August 30, 2010RamaNo CommentsBruce Willis, David Yates, Fantastic Four, James McTeigue, Joe Carnahan
There’s been a development in the ongoing process of rebooting FANTASTIC FOUR. You’ve heard casting rumors of who might play which character, CBM has heard more..
- Fox’s short list to helm FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot so far includes Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces, The A-Team), David Yates (Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince) and James McTeigue (V For Vendetta, Ninja Assassin).
- Filming is expected to start in May 2011 and it will be shot in 3D,.. not through that crappy post conversion process
- Scheduled to open in Summer 2012.
- The team’s origin will take place during the opening credits of the film, much like what was done in The Incredible Hulk.
- Wait, there’s more.. as you know, this reboot will have The Thing completely CG, so the website also heard that Fox is considering Bruce Willis to provide the voice for the character, although he hasn’t officially been offered the job yet. Not only that, the plan is to have Willis also show up in human form during the origin story part of the opening credits. I’m all for that idea!
