Adam Sandler Will Play Andy Samberg’s Dad In I HATE YOU DAD

I remember one of cinema’s famous interesting facts was that Sean Connery played Indiana Jones‘ father in The Last Crusade even though in real life, he’s only 12 years older than Harrison Ford. Same thing is happening again but this time it’s about SNL alum Adam Sandler and SNL current star Andy Samberg..

According to Hollywood Reporter, Sandler and Samberg are set to star in Columbia Pictures’ comedy I HATE YOU DAD, produced by Happy Madison.
Sandler will play a father who moves in on the eve of his son’s (Samberg) wedding and begins feuding with the bride-to-be
No word yet on who they’d cast as the bride.
Sandler is only 12 years older than Samberg in real life.

I HATE YOU DAD is still in development stages, no director is attached yet but Columbia picked up the project back in 2008
Ya know how they say.. so and so are the next so and so from the past.. for example, media says Shia LaBeouf is the next Tom Hanks or I’ve heard them say Zac Efron would be the next Tom Cruise and Adrien Brody is the next Al Pacino..
