The National Film Registry has announced its annual list of 25 “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant films”. There are films that from here on out are preserved as part of America’s great film heritage. AIRPLANE! (which starred the great Leslie Nielsen who passed away not too long ago) is among the movie selected this year.
