Angelina Jolie Might Get To Star In Luc Besson’s Untitled Big Scale Movie

In a couple of weeks, I’ll attend the press screening for Angelina Jolie‘s feature directorial debut, IN THE LAND OF HONEY AND BLOOD and I’ll be the judge if the film is Oscar worthy or not.
Speaking of Oscar worthy, I had high hopes for director Luc Besson‘s biopic, THE LADY but that film didn’t impress me and I don’t think it’s going to go far this award season. Perhaps it’s time for Besson to return to his glory days of The Professional, La Femme Nikita and The Fifth Element.
Deadline reported that Angelina Jolie might star in an untitled big scale movie written and to be directed by Besson.
They’re still in talks for now, nothing is official or confirmed yet but the site says that the project is a dramatic thriller rooted in true scientific element and of course Besson’s EuropaCorp will co-fund it and is in negotiations with a studio for domestic distribution
