Arnold Schwarzenegger Would Love To Do TRIPLETS. ‘Medically Speaking’Last week’s info about TWINS Sequel, titled TRIPLETS with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito coming back, now plus Eddie Murphy as the third sibling is just ok in my book, I’m still not too stoked about the choice of Murphy as the third sibling but I did enjoy the 1988 comedy, it was one of my favorite growing up. Former guv’nah himself, Arnold is super busy, he’s THE LAST STAND and THE TOMB and of course soon he’ll be out promoting THE EXPENDABLES 2 with a bunch of other buffed guys featured in that sequel, well, Arnold WAS buffed, sadly age and years of politics did a number on him. Comingsoon chatted with Arnold who said he’s excited to do TRIPLETS..
"I would love to do another 'Twins,'" "As a matter of fact, we’ve been talking about doing one and it’s called 'Triplets.' I’d find somebody like Eddie Murphy or someone that people would say, 'How does that happen, medically speaking?' and, 'Physically, there’s no way!' Then, somehow, we would explain it. That would be hilarious with what we know about someone like him." "I can see a poster," "A billboard with us three. 'They found another one!' 'Triplets!' 'Only their mother can tell them apart!' I would do that in two seconds, because that’s real entertainment. You come out with that movie for Christmas, like December 5th or something like that, and you’re home free."The reason he mentioned Dec. 5th is because the 1988 original opened on Dec 9th. No one questions Arnold's movie marketing skills, right?! Ha! But what do you think? Do you think this whole thing is a good idea? At least it's a good idea for Murphy who's given us one terrible comedy after another in recent years, I couldn't stand A Thousand Words. And so TRIPLETS would be like a breath of fresh air, something new for the guy who was supposed to host the Oscars this past year. By the way, some of you were wondering if any scribe has been assigned to write TRIPLETS, the answer is Not Yet. They're looking to hire screenwriters soon.
