Awesome! Because Of His Stupid Gay Slur, Brett Ratner Is No Longer The Producer Of The Next Oscars Show!

Rush Hour filmmaker Brett Ratner was supposed to be the producer of next year’s Academy Awards ceremony. He even managed to get his Tower Heist star Eddie Murphy as the host. But Ratner, being a joke that he is, said that “rehearsal is for fags” at the recent Q&A session after a recent special screening of TOWER HEIST. That comment got everybody pissed and the Academy is not happy about it either. Ratner also went on Howard Stern radio show and we all know how classy that show is. 24 Frames said they talked about all kinds of sex encounters and women with diseases.
And so.. the Academy has had enough of Ratner’s immature and reckless behavior. I’ve received this press release stating that Ratner has officially resigned as the producer of the 84th Annual Academy Awards. And Academy president Tom Sherak accepted his resignation.
Phew! Good riddance! But who’s gonna replace Ratner now?
I think Christopher Nolan should produce the next Oscars, could you imagine the most prestigious movie award show on the planet lookin’ all dark, gloomy, and gritty?! Ha!..

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Academy Statement Regarding Brett Ratner

Beverly Hills, CA – This morning, Brett Ratner submitted his resignation as a producer of the 84th annual Academy Awards to Academy President Tom Sherak. Ratner then issued an open letter to the entertainment industry in which he explained his decision.

“He did the right thing for the Academy and for himself,” Sherak said. “Words have meaning, and they have consequences. Brett is a good person, but his comments were unacceptable. We all hope this will be an opportunity to raise awareness about the harm that is caused by reckless and insensitive remarks, regardless of the intent.”
