Via Hollywood Reporter, Unkrich has tweeted that he has started working on a new Pixar movie and he’s going to post one photo for every day on his Tumblr page, as the work progresses, just so you can stay updated

“Today is day one on my next project. Every day I’ll post a new photo chronicling the journey,”

After the disappointing CARS 2, I just want a new original fresh Pixar movie please and all we know so far is that Up director Peter Docter has a new Pixar movie that explores what’s going on inside the brain and another Pixar veteran Bob Peterson also has an untitled movie about Dinosaurs. Both projects were revealed at the recent Disney D23 Expo.
So what is Unkrich working on? No one knows at this point but I’m sure it’s going to go straight for the heart, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Here’s the first photo that Unkrich posted on Sept. 26, it’s a close up shot of a Mac Keyboard with the caption “the starting line”, the second photo shows a couple of sandwiches and a bowl full of broccolis. Looks like Unkrich was just sharing what he had for lunch. The pic makes me kinda hungry too

Toy Story 3 is Pixar’s highest grossing film of all time, one of the most successful animated films of all time, and it was also the top grossing film of 2010 and it went on to win Oscar for Best Animated feature, so ya.. how would Unkrich top his previous success? The pressure is on!
