BAD TEACHER Reunion For An Untitled Supercuts Comedy

One of the worst movies I’ve seen this year was Bad Teacher, I hated that movie so much, I still haven’t posted my review yet but the film’s banking on Cameron Diaz‘s ‘I’m-old-but-I’m-trying-too-hard to-remain-sexy’ appeal earned $215 Million worldwide, which is usually enough reason for any studio to want a sequel.
But a sequel is not what’s going to happen.
Deadline reported that Sony Pictures and screenwriting team Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg and director Jake Kasdan are collaborating again for a new untitled comedy.
No plot details yet but the following is the logline..

After a Supercuts manager advises his best friend to break off his engagement, he unexpectedly falls in love with the jilted fiancee, testing both his new romance and his friendship.

Keep in mind that Eisenberg and Stupnitsky are the same terrible folks who who brought you Year One and they also penned GHOSTBUSTERS III. Their works are also practically the reason why Bill Murray is still reluctant about GHOSTBUSTERS III. Word has it Murray hasn’t read the script but just hearing that it’s penned by Year One writers was scary enough for Murray.
