BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD was one of last year’s best movies in my book, so I’m glad that it’s been Oscar-nominated for best actress, best director, and even best picture of the year. It stinks that the original score doesn’t get recognize but I’m happy for all its nods.
In that celebration, Fox Searchlight is bringing the hushpuppy film back to theaters. They’re re-releasing it on Friday, January 18, 2013 for special engagement
