Vince Gilligan - Breaking Bad

I can’t believe BREAKING BAD is coming to an end, that show is just so damn good, I don’t want it to go away, not yet at least. But prepare to say goodbye to Mr. White and Jesse once the show’s final episodes air this summer.
Creator Vince Gilligan who directed the pilot has said, via Hollywood Reporter, that he will write and direct the very final episode.
Gilligan also directed BB’s last episode of season 3 and the last two episodes of season 4

“I’m going to write the very last episode. It’s the only one I’ll have written with these final eight, so I’m hoping I have enough time to write it,”

“I’m sad, it’s a very bittersweet thing. I’m very sad about it being over,”
“There’s always going to be somebody who says they wished it went a different way. But if it ends well, if it ends right. … Hopefully we’re going to please the bulk of our viewers with this ending. We’re going to leave it all on the field, I can tell you that.”

Gilligan also said that one of the ideas he’d love to do is create a potential BREAKING BAD spin-off series focusing on the criminal lawyer SAUL GOODMAN played by funnyman Bob Odenkirk, and I think that’s a brilliant idea. I hope AMC picks that up.
