BRUNO Deleted Scene: Pete Rose

BRUNO was one of the worst comedy of the year. Not because of Sacha Baron Cohen‘s usual raunchy, no holds barred sense of humor but because that humor was not funny at all this time around compared to his previous hit BORAT. But one scene in the movie that did get me to chuckle was the part where he invited Paula Abdul for an interview at a house that didn’t have furniture so they had to sit on the Mexican day laborers. Here’s the deleted scene from the upcoming BRUNO which will hit DVD & Blu-Ray on November 17th, 2009, same setting, same Mexicans, but the guest celebrity is Pete Rose. I think it was deleted because Cohen was expecting Rose’s reaction to be explosive and angry like Abdul but that’s not what happened…
