Cecile De France Lives In Eastwood’s HEREAFTER

The Belgian hottie who was bloodied up in Alexandre Aja‘s High Tension has joined the cast of Clint Eastwood‘s latest attempt on Oscar, HEREAFTER. By the way, will we ever get a Clint Eastwood movie that’s just for fun movie watching experience anymore? I think the last time Eastwood made a movie that’s not aimed to be all Oscar worthy were Bloodwork and Space Cowboys. After that it’s always been about trying to get another statuette for the old man…

According to Variety, Cecile De France will play a French journalist who has a near-death experience in this supernatural drama about 3 people living in 3 different parts of the world and they’re all dealing with the questions of life after death. Matt Damon stars as the guy who can see dead people.
Christopher Nolan‘s INCEPTION isn’t the only one with global scope, HEREAFTER was written by one of the most respected screenwriters of our generation, Peter Morgan, nominated for Frost/Nixon and The Queen. His spec was bought by Dreamworks back in March 2008 when it was still with Paramount but now the project is housed at Warner Bros
Production already started last month and filming will take place in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco with a scheduled release in December 2010
