Hollywood Reporter said that Charlotte Rampling(The Dutchess) and Sean Patrick Flanery will join season 8 of DEXTER which will premiere this summer.
This season 8 may also be DEXTER’s Final season, no confirmation yet but that’s word on the street, which I think is good. I’m a huge DEXTER fan and pushing it to season 8 is more than necessary, but I enjoyed last season’s ending with Debra taking Dexter’s side.
No word yet if Yvonne Strahovski will return but I think she should because her character knows Dexter’s secret.
In season 8, Rampling plays a neuro-psychiatrist who works with young psychopaths and profiles criminals in unorthodox ways
Flanery plays Jacob Elroy, an ex-cop and owner of a Miami-set PI firm.
The decision on whether to end the whole thing with Season 8 will likely be announced nearing show’s return on June 30, 2013
