Check Out INDIANA JONES Early Concept Art

Who came up with the look for Indiana Jones. It’s no secret that before Harrison Ford, Spielberg-Lucas were considering Tom Selleck for the role but again, who came up with that outfit and the big hat? Via Blastr, artist Jim Steranko was the one hired to create first pre-production images of Indiana Jones for the film Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Steranko is also the artist who illustrated the looks for Captain America and Nick Fury in the old comic books.
Steranko was the right man for Indy job because in his life, Seranko has held many interesting careers including a gymnast, a fire-eater, a musician, an escape artist, a pugilist, a stage magician and a burglar. Hardcore, man!
