Clarkson, Glover, Cena And More Join BROTHER’S KEEPER

Somebody needs to tell John Cena a.k.a Matt Damon on Steroid that he can’t act for crap. I’d tell him but then he might put me in a headlock and actually break me in half. 12 Rounds was one of the worst movies of the year but action is not going to be Cena’s next gig, it’s going to be drama, believe it or not…

According to Hollywood Reporter, Patricia Clarkson, Devon Graye, Madeleine Martin, Danny Glover and John Cena have signed on to star in BROTHER’S KEEPER which is still a working title for now. It’s a WWE-produced drama, to be directed by Mel Damski with script written by John Posey, the story is about “a teenage boy (Graye) who tries to reunite his mother (Clarkson) and estranged older brother (Cena) 10 years after the death of their father, a state college wrestling legend. A brilliant student with no apparent athletic talents, the teenager decides to join the high school wrestling team as a way to pull the family together.”

Ha! High School wrestling, got nothing against it.. it’s just that I’m reminded of a South Park episode where Cartman and the gang found out High School Wrestling isn’t exactly the same as WWE wrestling.
