CLASH OF THE TITANS Sequel Is Titled WRATH OF THE TITANS. Liam Neeson Returns As Zeus

So what do you think went wrong with Clash Of The Titans remake this past year? Forget for a moment the fact that it took in a lot of money ($390 Million) worldwide,.. forget for a moment that I actually enjoyed it? The fact of the matter is it wasn’t well received and the reviews weren’t kind. Of course part of the blame was on WB’s decision to rush 3D conversion so the 3D FX didn’t do jacksh*t at all. We could’ve watched the whole damn thing without wearing those pesky glasses. Producer Basil Iwanyk previously said the sequel will be shot in 3D, so none of that conversion crap anymore. He also said some of the gods will be back and there are going to be 3 new key roles that are probably going to be played by big stars…
Liam Neeson told the Belfast Telegraph that he’s coming back as Zeus in the sequel which is titled WRATH OF THE TITANS
“I’ve only read half of the script and there is still some work being done – they’re on script 10 – but I think it’s going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it,”
WRATH OF THE TITANS will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman who helmed BATTLE: LOS ANGELES
Neeson also said filming will start in March 2011 but he’s not certain if it’s going to be shot in 3D or not..
Sam Worthington previously promised you that his character Perseus will be a lot more fun in the sequel
