As if Steven Soderbergh‘s global virus movie, CONTAGION isn’t already jam-packed with a bunch of A-listers, The Playlist said Demetri Martin, Jennifer Ehle, Bryan Cranston and Elliott Gould (Ocean’s Eleven) have joined the huge cast that includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Laurence Fishburne, John Hawkes, Josie Ho and Marion Cotillard…

CONTAGION opens October 21st, 2011. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Written by The Informant! and The Bourne Ultimatum scribe Scott Z Burns, it’s a “terrifying” action thriller about an outbreak of a deadly virus and the story takes place over four continents
This movie was supposed to be shot in 3D, but that’s not the case anymore due to technical holdups. ya see, Soderbergh was supposed to use the latest technology, RED Tatoo Camera but there was a few last-minute glitches, it won’t be ready in time for production and so the Oscar winning filmmaker decided to return to the regular RED cameras he owns and used on his previous movies (Che, The Informant, The Girlfriend Experience and the upcoming HAYWIRE). He lent that very same camera to David Fincher to shoot THE SOCIAL NETWORK
