Craziest Good Guys: Tallahassee, Elvis, Charlie Wax

I wanna place a spotlight on three particular characters that have rocked the screen in the past few months. Three badass, craziest good guys whose methods of taking care of business were unorthodox yet effective, whose impressive charm stayed with us long after the movies were done, thanks to the great actors behind them. Zombieland’s Tallahassee, Daybreakers‘ Elvis, and From Paris With Love‘s Charlie Wax. What did those three guys have in common? Or better yet, what does it take to be inducted in the craziest good guys hall of fame? Not that they’d give a damn about it. Heads up, this article contains SPOILERS!

1. They got cool memorable nicknames.

Just think about it, if Tallhassee’s name was Stuart or Barney, would you trust him to save your ass from zombies? The same goes for Elvis and Wax,.. these were names that fit the profile, that would ring the same tone if the sequels come around.

2. They got their own way with weapons

Elvis’ weapon of choice was a crossbow for obvious reasons and he made it look like only he knew exactly how to use it right. Charlie Wax had a favorite gun that followed him wherever he’d go, even if it meant it had to come in parts and pieces in a bunch of energy drink cans.
Point is…These craziest good guys are stubborn about the weapons they use, old habits die hard, they can and they will use other weapons but usually not after their first ‘love’ got the first shot.

3. Wisecracking, smartass, cocky attitude.

Very essential for craziest good guys to have this personality. You can thank John McLane for setting the bar more than 2 decades ago.
