David Cronenberg Will CLIMB ACROSS THE TABLE

David Cronenberg is one super busy filmmaker. He’s set to direct his own classic, THE FLY. He’s bringing us the adaptation of The Talking Cure, titled A DANGEROUS METHOD, and he’ll also be adapting COSMOPOLIS, and don’t forget that EASTERN PROMISES 2 is definitely going to happen, it’s just a matter of time. If that’s not enough, Pajiba has heard of another project that Cronenberg wants to tackle…

Cronenberg is attached to the adaptation of AS SHE CLIMBED ACROSS THE TABLE, based on the novel by author Jonathan Lethem. The project will be produced by the great scribe Steve Zallian (Schindler’s List) and they’re gunning for something in the vein of Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

Lethem is the same author who wrote the cult sci-fi noir novel GUN, WITH OCCASIONAL MUSIC which is being developed for the big screen by producers of Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans, scribe Javier Rodriguez is writing the screenplay
