Dermot Mulroney Hopes ABDUCTION 2 Would Happen

If you haven’t seen last year’s actioner Abduction, starring Taylor Lautner, well here we go.. SPOILER ALERT!! In that film, Dermot Mulroney played Lautner’s character’s dad, Martin Price. You didn’t get to see his face, you only heard his voice at the last scene of that film.
I met Mulroney today at the press day for The Grey, which he co-starred in and I asked him if ABDUCTION 2 would happen, but he didn’t seem to know if there would be a sequel..

“Are they doing it? They should
Wouldn’t that be a good part to do?!
I’m hoping. I keep calling
I’m glad you caught that!”

Back in September, director John Singleton was confident that the sequel would happen but Abduction was hated by fans and critics alike (it received only 4% at Rottentomatoes) and it only banked $28 Million domestically and so the chances of the sequel ever happening are probably unlikely right now.
