DIRTY OLD Freeman And Segal

One of my favorite movies in 2007 was The Bucket List. I actually have a list of my own, no I’m not dying which makes it even more fun because I got all the time in the world to do every single activity on that list, there’s no grim reaper waiting at my doorstep. But to ask for a sequel would be a bit silly since of course, and this is not really a spoiler if you think about it, the old lead characters died in the end. But with any luck, we might see a reunion of Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson on the big screen. Cross your fingers…

According to Hollywood Reporter, WB has bought the untitled comedy spec written by scribes Josh Cagan and Greg Coolidge, the project will be directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart) and starring Morgan Freeman (Evan Almighty). Both individuals are no strangers to the world of comedy.
The movie is titled DIRTY OLD MEN, it’s about an aging playboy who finally meets the love of his life but his best friend and wingman for the past 40 years set to be played by Freeman, will do everything to break up the new couple
Here’s the thing, the studio wants Jack Nicholson to play the aging playboy, I think it’s a great idea. Besides, Nicholson is the one factor Segal and Freeman have in common. Segal directed Nicholson in Anger Management, co-starring Adam Sandler.

Nicholson hasn’t currently signed on yet but he’s fully aware of the offer and of the project itself and I hope he’ll say yes. Nobody could play an aging playboy better than Nicholson because the man practically has lived the lifestyle, he is the guru of aging playboy.
DIRTY OLD MEN is described to be in the similar tone as Wedding Crashers and The 40-Year-Old Virgin
