Let’s face it, Dragonball: Evolution was the poop movie of 2009. But of course the stars of the movie wouldn’t feel that way, even after the harsh reviews and 15% rating on RottenTomatoes, they’ll still be in denial. Via WP, a fan asked actor James Marsters (who played Piccolo in the film) at a recent Con event, of whether or not the sequel would happen, Marsters replied..

“Probably not,”

Phew! There is a God! What a relief!
But here’s what’s amusing, Marsters went on to defend the movie with this statement..

“If you compare it to ‘Dragon Ball,’ it actually kind of kicks ass,”
“But if you compare it to ‘Dragon Ball Z,’ and they think it’s a light version.”

He revealed that he and his co-stars were actually already plannin’ on workin’ out for the sequel..

“You should have seen what we would have done with ‘Z,’”
“Because we pumped up ‘Dragonball’ and we were going to pump up ‘Z’ the same way. Justin Chatwin (Goku in ‘DragonBall: Evolution’) said that we need to work out every day [for the sequel]. Because we have to transform. I’m going from [scrawny] to Boom (indicates bigger size), and he’s going from little kid to Boom. I was like ‘Justin, we can’t puss out on that. We’ve got to have boobies ‘”

Lucky for us, the studio scrapped the whole DRAGON BALL Z plan.
I don’t think the world will ever be ready for Marsters’ ‘boobies’ anyway..

  1. Damn. Dragonball should never end. There should always be a villian. At least a world tournament. The movie wasn’t great but the whole story is and it just sucks knowing it won’t continue. I hope they at least add new characters and stories to the games. Its just a wonderfuul creation and it sucks that they chose to end it. At least sell the rights to somebody so they can continue where u left off. Same with star wars. Fans can’t get enough yet you starve them.
