Ed Harris May Join Dwayne Johnson For Bay’s PAIN AND GAIN

Ed Harris may have been the only decent thing about the recent popcorn thriller Man On A Ledge.
Vulture reported that the dude who took Alcatraz hostage in The Rock may act alongside The Rock. Harris is in talks to join PAIN AND GAIN, officially starring Dwayne Johnson, directed by Michael Bay. Still no confirmation yet if Wahlberg would co-star as well. Previous report stated that both Johnson and Wahlberg were after the same role.
PAIN AND GAIN is based on 1999′s Miami New Times Article which is about a pair of Florida bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping gone awry.

This a low budget project compared to the previous movies that Bay has done, obviously. But the site said this is a way for Paramount to try to temp Bay to return and do TRANSFORMERS 4. O geez.
