Any of you Paul Walker’s fans out there? Well, here’s a few info on Walker who apparently is a freakishly busy guy!..

Ok, first up, Walker’s production company, yup, he’s a producer now, Laguna Ridge Pictures signed a 2-year first look production deal with Universal Pictures
Well, it’s no surprise, seeing that Walker has starred in Universal’s Fast And Furious franchise, so that’s nice of the studio for housing his banner. Walker will star in FAST SIX which starts production sometime this spring.

Previous report stated that Jon Bernthal who played the a-hole Shane Walsh in AMC’s great series, The Walking Dead, was in talks with TNT to star in the new period drama series L.A. NOIR which is godfathered by Frank Darabont who developed the adaptation The Walking Dead before Darabont got booted right before the show’s 2nd season started.
TNT still hasn’t confirmed Bernthal’s involvement yet but Deadline reported that Milo Ventimiglia has officially signed on to star in the new series. By the way, if you’d seen Ventimiglia in the recent sci-fi horror, The Divide, you wouldn’t see him as Peter Petrelli or Rocky Balboa’s son in that film…

I missed out on the Valentine’s Day special screening of TITANIC in 3D, I guess I’ll patiently wait for the April 4th arrival of this 3D-theatrical re-release of James Cameron‘s 2nd highest grossing film of all time, behind his other film, Avatar.
In that celebration, Yahoo has this new TV spot for TITANIC in 3D..

When I was in high school, my English class had to watch the old Pride And Prejudice miniseries videos starring Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth and Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy. Turns out, those who love the book still prefer that adaptation over the 2005 version starring Keira Knightley. But Ehle looked strangely like younger Meryl Streep in Contagion, I suppose if Hollywood ever made a biopic on Streep, Ehle should play the role.
EW reported that Jennifer Ehle and Nash Edgerton have joined the cast of director Kathryn Bigelow‘s untitled KILL BIN LADEN Movie.
Nash, a stuntman, is a brother Joel’s who by the way is already part of the cast.

Starring Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Mark Strong (Green Lantern), Jessica Chastain (The Help), Chris Pratt, Kyle Chandler, and Edgar Ramirez and Jason Clarke in Sony Pictures’ drama about hunting down Osama Bin Laden scripted by Mark Boal and directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker)

DOD (Dept. of Defense) and the CIA still continue investigating the possibility that classified information about the killing of bin Laden was released to director Bigelow and scribe Boal. The White House denied releasing any classified information.
This publicity only helps the project, if you ask me, which by the way is still moving forward. Production starts next month and the film arrives Dec. 19, way after the election, so as to eliminate any conspiracy theorist out there thinking that this movie is some sort of campaign to re-elect Obama.

Boal and Bigelow will produce the project, along with Annapurna Picture’s Megan Ellison, and executive producer, Greg Shapiro. The film will be released in the United States on December 19th, 2012.

Last year it was reported that director Edward Zwick‘s (The Last Samurai, Glory, Blood Diamond, Defiance) who previously ventured to romantic drama with Love & Other Drugs, was set to helm CBS Films’ adaptation of AMERICAN ASSASSIN, based on the novel by author Vince Flynn.
Screenplays is penned by Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz (The Last Samurai).
But there’s been a change of plan..

Heat Vision said Jeffrey Nachmanoff will now be the one to direct AMERICAN ASSASSIN because Zwick left the project do develop THE GREAT WALL which may star Henry Cavill
So now this project belongs to Nachmanoff, no word yet if the previous script would go through rewrite..

I actually have this book, THE NIGHT CIRCUS, but I haven’t gotten around to reading it just yet. Deadline reported that Summit has hired Moira Buffini to adapt the Erin Morgestern novel about two young illusionists in a rivalry that they continued from their fathers’. Summit bought the screen and TV rights.
