First Look Posters For AMERICAN REUNION And Roman Polanski’s CARNAGE

Good friends at IMP got their hands on a couple of these nifty first posters. First one is for the latest American Pie installment that’s going to hit the big screen, AMERICAN REUNION, many of the franchise’s original stars are back and so is that pie that Jimbo f*ed in the first movie.
And the other one is the first and international poster for director Roman Polanski‘s adaptation of CARNAGE starring John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, and Christoph Waltz. Check ‘em out..

AMERICAN REUNION

AMERICAN REUNION opens April 6th, 2012
The project project was written and will be directed by the geniuses behind Harold & Kumar franchise, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg
The original cast members will return: Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Eugene Levy, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Shannon Elizabeth Eddie Kaye, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge.
Also starring Katrina Bowden (TV’s 30 Rock) as Chris Klein‘s girlfriend who likes to party and Dania Ramirez as Trisha, described as the ugly duckling in high school who’s grown into a beautiful swan and is Finch’s (Eddie Kaye Thomas) love interest

In this latest installment, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship.

CARNAGE

It’s an adaptation of Le Dieu du Carnage a.k.a GOD OF CARNAGE,… based on the Tony award winning play by French playwright/novelist/screenwriter Yasmina Reza who was visiting Polanski back when he was under house arrest and working on the script.
Just like The Ghost Writer which had the story set in the states but shooting location was in Europe, due to Polanski’s unique condition, CARNAGE is about “an increasingly tense and chaotic meeting between two sets of middle-class parents, brought together after their young sons get into a scrap at the playground” is set in Brooklyn, New York.
Reilly plays the character Michael and Foster plays his wife. Waltz and Winslet play the other couple.

Set in contemporary Brooklyn, New York, Carnage centers on two pairs of parents one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park, who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos.
