HATCHET II Director Adam Green’s Next Twisted Plan: A Hitler Movie

Such a shame what happened to Hatchet II, not about the movie but about it not getting a fair theatrical release. It opened unrated, uncut at AMC theaters on October 1st but then a couple of days later, the movie got yanked. AMC said cause the movie wasn’t performing well at the box office but writer/director Adam Green thought it was because of all the mess with MPAA and online controversy. O well, past is past, so what’s on the twisted mind of Green right now. What’s he cookin’ up? He is set to to direct KILLER PIZZA which may not be as gory as his usual dish but what would be his next fun slasher?..

Green told EW that he’s gonna work on an Anthology collaboration, CHILLERAMA, with fellow filmmakers Adam Rifkin (Detroit Rock City), Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs), and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2).
So what’s this CHILLERAMA is about? Sounds like a Mexican food menu huh? But you’d lose your appetite after reading this description from Green..

“Adam Rifkin is doing a segment called Wadzilla, which is basically a take on ‘50s giant monster movies. It’s [about] a guy that goes to get his sperm count raised, and it creates one big sperm that attacks New York City. Tim Sullivan is doing something called I was a Teenage Werebear. In gay culture there’s a term ‘Bear’ for guys that are big hairy burly men, and his has kind of a Rebel Without A Cause-type feel. My segment is called The Diary of Anne Frankenstein. It’s a black and white movie about Hitler trying to create the perfect killing machine to win the war. Joel David Moore (Hatchet, Avatar) plays Adolf Hitler. It’s probably the funniest part he’s ever done. The whole movie is in German, but Joel does not know German, so he’s making up his own gibberish through the whole movie, but his subtitles are correct. The final one is being done by Joe Lynch. His is like a zombie movie with a twist—they’re more like sex zombies than zombies that just want to eat you.”

Wow, clearly Green doesn’t give a rat’s ass if AMC and MPAA hate his guts… they got giant sperm, big hairy burly men, Hitler and Sex zombies..
