Helen Mirren Wants To Play Play ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S WIFE

Wow! Haven’t heard much about this project in a while. Earlier this year, it was reported that Anvil! The Story Of Anvil director Sacha Gervasi was in talks to write and direct ALFRED HITCHCOCK biopic based on a chapter in the career of the late great filmmaker who brought us Rear Window, Strangers On A Train, Vertigo, The Birds, North By Northwest and Psycho. Montecito Pictures is in collaboration with Gervasi to take over the adaptation of Stephen Rebello‘s book, ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO. Previous draft was written by Rebello and Black Swan scribe John McLaughlin. The actor attached to play Hitchcock is none other than one of the greatest actors of all time, the one who can play any role you throw at him, Anthony Hopkins.
Today, Hollywood Reporter said if all goes well, Helen Mirren will play the wife, Alma Reville.
