Hey, Jack Bauer! 24 The Movie Would Start In Spring. Tony Scott Will Not Direct

Deadline said the movie version of Fox popular series 24 (which I used to watch religiously until it got too monotonous after season 5), will start production in Spring 2012, specifically April.
Kiefer Sutherland will star once again as CTU agent Jack Bauer who’ll stop at nothing to stop terrorism, even if it means he’d have to torture those he interrogates.
Screenwriter Mark Bomback will turn in the latest draft of the script by the end of this year.
Tony Scott is no longer attached to this project and so studio is looking for a director and word has it they have 5 in mind right now, so that’s a lot to choose from.
