HOBBIT Report From Gandalf. They Already Got Someone To Play Bilbo

Real quick now, just to let you in on what’s going on in Middle-Earth. As we all know, producer Peter Jackson and director Guillermo Del Toro have not wanted to give the fans too much because they always said that they were in the writing process or that the studio has greenlit the budget. Be that as it may, Ian McKellen a.k.a the great Gandalf, showed up at BFI IMAX Cinema in London and revealed the following bullet points, via slashfilm…

• He will return as Gandalf

• He expects he’ll start working on set in March 2010

• He said they’ve already cast the role of Bilbo Baggins. But he did not reveal the name of the actor.

• His own personal copy of the script for the first part of the film would arrive within the next 2 weeks.

It’d be funny if Sam Worthington gets to play Bilbo, I’m just saying that cause every studio in Hollywood wants a piece of him nowadays.
