HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN Movie With Cult Legend Rutger Hauer

The guy you see in the image above is the ever awesome Rutger Hauer, one of screen’s memorable cult actors. Blade Runner, The Hitcher (the original one), Nighthawks, Sodier Of Orange, Ladyhawke. But those of you young ones would at least remember him in Batman Begins. To me Hauger is… not necessarily a great actor but he’s an actor who could leave an impression nonetheless, maybe because there’s just something about his on screen presence that’s hard to ignore, either that or the intimidating look that he seems to have 24/7. A critic once regard him as ““a one-man slaughterhouse,” Speaking of slaughter..

Ain’t it cool news said Hauer is going to join the feature version of HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN.. yup you heard that right.
It’s based on the faux trailer that won the best Grindhouse trailer award a few years back.. it was directed by Nova Scotia filmmaker Jason Eisener who brought us the disturbingly cool short film Treevenge.
HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN is already in production in Canada.
You can watch the faux trailer below starring Dave Brunt.. Sadly he won’t be reprising his role for the movie version.. but no worries because Hauer will be playing the hobo, the unlikely hero royally shooting some mothaf*ckas!
