IF Chloe Moretz And I STAY

Variety said documentary filmmaker R.J. Cutler will make his first narrative feature directorial debut with Summit Entertainment’s adaptation of Gayle Forman’s novel, IF I STAY and Chloe Moretz is attached to star.
This is a supernatural story about the relationship between a classical musician and her indie rock-star boyfriend…

Back in February 2009, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke was set to helm this project but she left it for RED RIDING HOOD and so the job now went to Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia (Adrift), using a screenplay written by Shauna Cross, but now it belongs to Cutler.
At one point, Dakota Fanning was attached to star but she left because she wanted to finish high school, now it’s Chloe’s movie.
