Is Acting ‘Kind Of Gay’? Rampage (THE A-TEAM’s B.A.) Seems To Think So

Hell I’d be ecstatic to have a chance to act alongside Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Sharlto Copley, especially playing one of the most iconic roles from TV, originally played by an icon, but UFC Fighter Rampage who’ll be starring next week as B.A.Baracus in THE A-TEAM movie didn’t seem to enjoy acting that much. If Mr. T would pity the fool, Rampage would pity the actors. He talked to LA Times recently and this is his comment…

“Acting is kind of gay. It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you’re cold. I don’t want a coat over my shoulders! I’m a tough-ass motherf*cker!”
“Vancouver strikes me as a San Francisco-kind of place,”
“And I don’t want [individuals] getting ideas about me. I feel in my heart I’m the toughest [individual] on the planet. And I don’t want nothing changing my train of thought. If you don’t believe that when we step inside the octagon, it shows.”

“Here, there’s a thing called ‘pecking order’. I’m not used to that. People can be really inconsiderate of people’s feelings. I wasted three weekends in a row waiting in my trailer when they didn’t use me at all. To be honest, my experience in this movie industry hasn’t always been good. If you know one thing about me, I say time is the most valuable thing in this universe. I hate wasting time. And these motherf*ckers wasted a lot of my…time!”

The man badly needs to keep his reputation, I guess..But that’s part of acting in movies, fool! Didn’t Rampage get the memo?!
What did he expect? People working on your hair, waiting sometimes for hours, that’s basically part of the whole experience.
This cracks me up.
But I sure hope this doesn’t keep him from coming back for the sequels because after watching the trailer for the movie a thousand times, I’m more convinced now than ever that the’s the right man for the job.
