Remember that Robert Rodriguez movie called DESPERADO starring Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek in a steamy sex scene, where the guitar cases turned into bazookas and machine guns, the bar brawl was spectacular and Tarantino made an appearance and it was like one of the coolest movies in the ’90s. According to Hollywood Reporter, hottie Isla Fisher is set to star in DESPERADOS, a comedy spec by Ellen Rapoport that was bought by Universal Pictures
DESPERADOS has been described as a female version of The Hangover.
It’s about “a woman sends an indignant e-mail to her new beau, who’s gone silent after they have sex. When she discovers he’s comatose in a Mexican hospital, she races south of the border with her friends in tow to intercept the e-mail before he recovers.”
Eh,.. doesn’t sound like it’s going to be as fun as The Hangover.
This isn’t the only gig Isla Fisher will be doing for Universal, we knew previously that she’s also attached to 2 more.
