Jesse Eisenberg Gives Out FREE SAMPLES

Jesse Eisenberg‘s got that Oscar buzz all over him, he was great in The Social Network, don’t get me wrong, but I still think it wasn’t Oscar great. But hey, if he does get the nomination, I have nothing but congratulations for the best nerd performer of the year. According to The Wrap, Eisenberg will play supporting role only in the indie dramedy FREE SAMPLES with the star of Teeth, Jess Weixler (who I’ve interviewed once)
The film also stars Jason Ritter (who I’ve interviewed once) who’s worked with Eisenberg in The Education Of Charlie Banks and Ritter has also worked with Weixler in Peter And Vandy.
Scripted by Jim Beggarly and directed by Jay Gammill, FREE SAMPLES will have Weixler play “a law school drop-out who fills in as a server as a friend’s food truck, where she doles out free samples of ice cream. The job tests her patience, and while she figures out what to do with her life, she finds herself being courted by a young man (Eisenberg) whom she barely remembers from the night before.”
