Jessica Biel The MOB GIRL

Is Jessica Biel a talented actress? Talented ass, talented legs, talented bod, but can we take her seriously as an actress? Obviously going strip nude for that Powder Blue movie didn’t boost her career whatsoever, it only made her a viral commodity as people only care about checking out the movie screenshots on the interweb. You can’t really judge her by the upcoming THE A-TEAM movie because that’s just an action movie and the focus is not even on her. But maybe MOB GIRL can be her salvation…

According to Pajiba, Biel has signed on to produce and star in MOB GIRL with An Education helmer Lone Scherfig attached to direct.
Ok, I thought An Education was an excellent movie so maybe Scherfig’s direction could bring out the breast.. ehm.. I meant the best in Biel as an actress.

MOB GIRL is based on a true story of a mafia mistress named Arlyne Brickman, tragically raped and beaten by mob wiseguys.. so as her revenge.. she infiltrated the mafia, collected evidence and put away Anthony Scarpati.
Now that is a daring move for Biel!
I remember back in the 80s, there was an actress got raped on screen and put away her rapists,.. she then got herself an Oscar.. it was Jodie Foster in The Accused..
I’m not saying same fate will happen to Biel but you never know.

They’re still looking for writers and it seems like Scherfig will focus on directing that rom-com ONE DAY first, starring Anne Hathaway, before she tackled MOB GIRL which by the way is based on the book by Teresa Carpenter, here’s the synopsis..

“From an early age, Arlyn Brickman associated with petty and some not so petty racketeering figures, starting with her grandmother and father. Intoxicated by the glamour and flash, she made herself “indispensable” to wiseguys by running errands, carrying packages, or offering her home as a meeting place or safe haven—not to mention the dozens of mob figures with whom she slept. Before long, she vaulted from an adjunct role into the thick of bookmaking, loansharking, and drug dealing. Over a 30-year career, she had eight abortions and endured beatings, humiliations, and a brutal rape, eventually becoming a government informant and witness.”
