Jet Li Enters DRAGON INN 3D

Besides DeNiro-Scorsese reunion , which other ultimate, epic actor-director reunion would the world wanna see? Well here’s one..

According to CriEnglish, Jet Li will reteam with the legendary director of Once Upon A Time In China movies, Tsui Hark for the remake of 1992 film, NEW DRAGON GATE INN. Li will be paid about $12 Million for this martial art project, produced by production company Polybona.
The film will be shot in 3D
Tsui himself was a producer of the original film Dragon Inn starring Donny Yen and Maggie Cheung.
The story is set in Ming Dynasty, about General Chow Wai-On, played by Li who fights the power-hungry eunuch Tsao Siu-Yan at a deserted inn called Dragon Gate
Zhou Xun will play the inn’s seductive owner Jade and they’re still looking to cast an actor for the role Tsao Siu-Yan.
Production is expected to start in September.
