JONAH HEX Reshoots

I was gonna blog about that whole ROBIN HOOD being in 3D but turns out, Universal insists that Ridley Scott‘s take on the prince of thieves will NOT get the $8 Million 3D treatment that Scott was begging for. Here, here Scott, everything’s gonna be all right, just cause AVATAR banks $1 billion, doesn’t mean your movie have to. A few hundred million dollars would be just fine, right, assuming that’s what’s gonna happen in May, unless IRON MAN 2 keeps holding the B.O. throne. So here’s one from the other day, according to Heat Vision, JONAH HEX will be back on the set to shoot some more scenes and I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence has joined the team as a consultant..

Movies are adding and editing some stuff at the last minute, THE WOLFMAN, CLASH OF THE TITANS and now this. Grounds for concern or reasons to anticipate them even more in promise that we’re going to see even cooler, more exciting scenes?
JONAH HEX is still set for release on June 18th, 2010 but Warner Bros. and Legendary are calling back Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox and Michael Fassbender to L.A area for 10-day shoot. Word has it that the particular additional scenes involve President Andrew Johnson but the upside is that it might also mean more scenes featuring Megan Fox as the good lookin’, corset-wearin’ prostitute.
“the studio has decided to work on story and action during the shoots, working in 12 pages of additional script mixed in with some reshoots.”. We’ll see if this turns out to be a worth while investment.

Josh Brolin plays the scarred, rough-and-tumble gunslinger bounty hunter tracking a voodoo practitioner (John Malkovich) who wants to raise an army of undead to liberate the South. Megan Fox plays Leila, a gun-wielding beauty and love interest of Hex. Will Arnett will play a Union soldier who enlists Hex and is blindsided by the dirty fighting style of his enemies. Michael Shannon will play Doc Cross Williams, the bizarre ringleader of a brutal gladiator circus event. Directed by Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears A Who)

Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) is a scarred drifter and bounty hunter of last resort, a tough and stoic gunslinger who can track down anyone…and anything.
