These past few weeks there had been rumors about the possibility of Spider-Man’s cameo in THE AVENGERS movie which was kinda weird because Sony owns Spidey’s film franchise rights.
Today at the epic AVENGERS global livetweet chat, director Joss Whedon settled the matter once and for all. He replied to @matmanphoto’s question with this answer.. “There is no Spider-Man cameo. But the Avengers do turn off the dark.”
So there you have it! Our friendly webslinging neighorhood hero won’t be helping out Thor, Cap, and Stark this summer.
By the way, don’t forget to enter for chance to win THE AVENGERS sweepstakes, check out the rules at the film’s official facebook page before deadline hits!
