Justin Long, Jess Weixler, Tyler Labine, and Addison Timlin To Star In LUMPY

NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 20, 2011 — Dave Abbitt, Managing Member of Coll-Abbitt Productions, announced today that Justin Long, Jess Weixler (“Peter and Vandy,” “Teeth”), Tyler Labine (“Mad Love”), and Addison Timlin (“Californication”) will star in writer Ted Koland’s directorial debut, LUMPY. Michael Landes (“Just Wright”), Evan Jones (“Book of Eli”), and Shelley Long will co-star. The film is currently being shot on location in Minnesota…

The best man at Scott (Long) and Kristin’s (Weixler) Arizona destination wedding, Lumpy (Labine) is the life of the party, until a long, indulgent night leads to his untimely death. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and fly back to Minneapolis to arrange for his funeral, Scott and Kristin meet Ramsey (Timlin) and learn that Lumpy isn’t quite who they thought he was.

“We are so fortunate LUMPY attracted such an amazing cast,” said Abbitt, “it’s a testament to the depth and poignancy of Ted’s original screenplay.”

LUMPY is being produced by Dave Abbitt, Jen Roskind, and Sharyn Steele.  The film is being shot by Seamus Tierney (Adam, HappyThankYouMore Please). Koland has written and/or produced over eighty hours of one-hour, television drama.

Long just finished shooting a starring turn in the Jamie Linden feature TEN YEAR opposite Channing Tatum, Anthony Mackie and Chris Pratt. Following LUMPY, Justin will star in the feature CHRONICLE with Ryan Phillippe and Ben Foster. Justin rounds his summer out by starring in the Williamstown stage play ONE SLIGHT HITCH.  Long is repped by CAA and Principato-Young.

Weixler recently wrapped three films; “Free Samples” opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Ritter, “Periphery” with Jesse Garcia, and “The Normals” with Bryan Greenberg.  Weixler is repped by The Gersh Agency and Mosaic.

Labine will be featured in “Rise of the Apes” with James Franco and Freida Pinto  and also has “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy” with Jason Sudeikis and “Sisters and Brothers” on the horizon.  Labine is repped by CAA and The Characters Talent Agency.

Timlin is also working on “Odd Thomas” with Anton Yelchin, Tim Robbins and Willem Dafoe and continues on the hit series “Californication.”  Timlin is repped by The Gersh Agency and Management 360.
