Katie Holmes Is More ROMANTIC Than Liv Tyler

Showbiz Tonight had an interesting segment the other week about Stars who are Famous For Nothing, people like Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Simpson. It’s not that they don’t have TV Shows or make movies, it’s just that even when their movies tank at the box office or their show got canceled, for some reason, they’ll always be talked about, paparazzi will always snap photos of them and they’ll always be famous. I think it’s fair to say that you can throw Katie Holmes into that mix. Attaching herself to Tom Cruise is basically the mountaintop of her entire career but she’s about to replace a woman who I think is way sexier than Holmes wishes she could ever be…

According to Variety, Holmes has signed on to replace Liv Tyler in the romantic comedy THE ROMANTICS. The rest of the cast includes Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong
No word on why hot cougar Tyler is no longer attached to the project. I can only assume it’s because she knows better.
The movie will be directed by Galt Niederhoffer who also wrote the script based on her own novel. Wow, is she handling the camera and the editing and the lighting and the catering too? Geez..

THE ROMANTICS is about eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding. Holmes will play Laura, the maid of honor to her best friend the bride Lila, played by Paquin. Laura and Lila both have a past with the groom, played by Duhamel
