That THOR image above was revealed this past week and it was part of EW‘s Comic-Con ’10 preview but it also gave first real look at Mjolnir which is the mighty hammer of the norse god of thunder, an object that director Kenneth Branagh said, via CBM, was always at the center of their production. After the jump, he also talked complications with the suit which by the way received mixed responses from fans…

“The look of the hammer was the first conversation I had the day I started the job”
“We had conversations about how the Hammer looked the night before shooting, during shooting, the look of the hammer and how to shoot it. We’re still talking about the hammer.”
“Thor’s suit was bloody hot for the first week they didn’t have a cooling system in it. They had to add a t-shirt with water tubes sticking out.”

The article also gave a slightly updated version of the synopsis..
