Kenneth Branagh To Spend A WEEK WITH MARILYN As Laurence Olivier

According to Production Weekly, via The Playlist, Brit thesp Kenneth Branagh who from here on out will be known by fanboys as the director of THOR, is going to play the late great Sir Laurence Olivier in MY WEEK WITH MARILYN for TWC..

Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain) will play Monroe. The story is about the time Marilyn Monroe spent in England shooting th efilm The Prince And The Showgirl opposite Sir Laurence Olivier, as documented in a diary by Olivier’s employee Colin Clark, who in 1957 looked after Monroe when she arrived in London for the film’s production.
Production is set to start in September, produced by Oscar winner David Parfitt (Shakespeare In Love) and directed by Simon Curtis.
Brit thesp Ralph Fiennes was going to play Olivier but decided to make his feature directorial debut with his own version of Shakespeare’s CORIOLANUS instead.
