Kevin Pollak Is A Stickler For The Rules In CBS’ BEVERLY HILLS COP Series

Hollywood Reporter said Veteran actor Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects, The Whole Nine Yards) has joined the cast of CBS’ BEVERLY HILLS COP series starring Brandon T. Jackson as the cop son of Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley, named Aaron Foley.
Jackson will play Axel’s son, Aaron Foley, a blue collar cop on the force, struggling to escape the shadow of his legendary father, who’s now chief of police in Detroit.
BEVERLY HILLS COP series’ showrunner is Shawn Ryan who brought us The Shield and CBS has ordered pilot production.
The plan is to have it as a buddy cop hourlong crime procedural show with strong comedic elements and Murphy would show up as Axel in the pilot and a few episodes throughout the first season.
Pollak will play in-house lawyer named Rodney Daloof who is a stickler for the rules and a loud-mouthed bully.
