Laura Dern Also Thinks JURASSIC PARK 4 Will Happen

This past summer, the great Steven Spielberg reportedly had been meeting with screenwriter Mark Protosevich (Poseidon, I Am Legend) to brainstorm a way or a story for JURASSIC PARK 4 and at Comic-Con ’11, Spielberg said it would possibly happen in the next two or three years. Laura Dern who plays Dr. Ellie Sattler in the first film (the great one) and reprised her role for a few scenes in the third one (the crappy one) told Slate that she heard that JURASSIC PARK 4 is happening..

“I hear it’s happening. I think it’s got a ways to go. Steven is about to immerse himself in Lincoln, which is really exciting and something he’s poured his heart and soul into for a long time. I’m so excited because Daniel Day-Lewis is playing Lincoln. Once that’s finished, there’s always been talk that my character is deeply involved in [Jurassic Park 4] somehow, but I haven’t heard yet.”

Spielberg directed the first film which was the awesomest one and it banked $915 Million worldwide, he also directed the sequel, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, which was ok in my opinion but it only banked $619 Million and he exec-produced the god-awful Jurassic Park III which took in only $369 Million.
