Look At FOR COLORED GIRLS First Image

IESB has this first look at Tyler Perry’s upcoming non-original film FOR COLORED GIRLS, an adaptation of FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF, based on Ntozake Shange‘s award-winning 1975 play about a poetic exploration of what is to be of color and a female in this world. The play “consists of a series of poems performed through a cast of nameless women, known only by a color. It deals with such subjects as love, abandonment, rape, and abortion.”
