Look At Jackie Earle Haley As New Freddy Krueger

It’s as if the web doesn’t want me driving to San Diego for Comic-Con this afternoon because cool movie images keep showing up online. MySpace has the first look image of Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) as the new Freddy Krueger in the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Remake.
Haley took on the role that was made iconic for years by Robert Englund
As you can see, director Samuel Bayer kept Freddy’s shirt, hat, and those knives for fingers, they kept me from sleeping at night was I was younger.
But you can’t really see new Freddy’s face, at least not for now. Good tease though.
