Look At SOURCE CODE First Photo

Film source code, via wetdarkandwild, has this first look photo of SOURCE CODE, the new movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal, directed by Duncan Jones who gave us the underrated sci-fi, Moon. The photo was part of the October issue of Empire. And it states that the release date is March 11th, 2011. Not certain yet if it’s a date for UK or U.S…

Also starring Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright and Michelle Monaghan.
SOURCE CODE is about “a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown commuter and is forced to live and relive a harrowing train bombing until he can determine who is responsible for it.”
Farmiga will play a hands-on communications officer controlling Gyllenhaal as he travels through time and space.
Monaghan will play a woman on the train with whom the man is involved romantically.
SOURCE CODE was originally housed at Universal that bought the screenplay from Ben Ripley
The current script for SOURCE CODE got a bit of a rewrite by Billy Ray (State of Play).
Gyllenhaal plays Colter Stevens, “a helicopter pilot who finds himself in a very unlikely and disoriented situation.”
