LOVE DON’T LET Paltrow And Meester DOWN

I can’t wait to see how Pepper Potts and Black Widow competing over Tony Stark in IRON MAN 2. That should be entertaining, but if you ask me, Gwyneth Paltrow will always be hotter than Scar-Jo could ever hope herself to be. And hearing that Paltrow is collaborating with Gossip Girl‘s Leighton Meester deserves a post all to itself…

According to Variety, Paltrow and Meester will star in LOVE DON’T LET ME DOWN, also starring Tim McGraw and Garrett Hedlund, star of next year’s TRON LEGACY.
Before we go further, I just wanna say that I’m beginning to think that McGraw may slowly become as good of an actors as he is a singer. His role in Four Christmases with the wrestling freak Jon Favreau was hilarious and he held up quite well sharing screen with Sandra Bullock and Kathy Bates in The Blind Side. Only time will tell how much better he can be.

LOVE DON’T LET ME DOWN is a story set in the country music world.
Scripted by Shana Feste who will also direct the project. It’s about “a rising young singer-songwriter (Hedlund) who becomes involved with a fallen country singer (Paltrow) as they embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband and manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester), romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.”
Tobey Maguire is producing with Jenno Topping through their Maguire Entertainment shingle.
